Everyone wins and you'll have more time to sit back and enjoy an Arizona sunset with all the time (and money!) you'll save this year.
June 27 - Mountain Landscapes, Perfectly Designed
Living in the Tri-Cities comes with some landscape challenges. This class will help you understand and visualize various landscape designs and scenarios for our unique area. Bring your ideas and let our landscape designers help you turn them into reality.
July Classes

July 11-Creating the Perfect Container Garden
They may be compact, but pots can be dynamic displays of color and enchanting beauty. Discover container gardening not just for flowers, but herbs too! This class is hands on so bring in a container to plant in or we will give you a discount on a new one. Designers will be on hand to show and tell you how to build your own container garden to enjoy all summer long!
July 18 - Wildscapes: Working with Nature Not Against it
Walk on the wild side this year with natures natural landscaping. Come and learn how to work with what Mother Nature has already provided and learn some of the secrets we use to make the wild ones grow best. We will also take a look at which wildflower mixes are best for our area and how to increase your wildflower success.
July 25 - Keeping the Critters Out, with Less Weeds
We will show you exactly how to install fencing that will keep javelina, rabbit and other pesky critters out of the garden. We'll also share the best plants for the region that animals don't, won't and can't eat. We'll help you stop feeding the animals and plant it right this year and then keep it weed free for season long enjoyment.
August Classes
August 1 - Great Looking Ground Covers
Do you have a certain area in the yard that you would love to cover with something beautiful but just don't know what would work? You'll learn the right ground covers that work for any situation. Whether it's a leach field you are trying to landscape or an erosion problem you are trying to fix, we would love to help. We will be covering a lot of ground at this summer garden class!
August 8 - Mountain Gardening Made Easy
Learn all about the soil, weather patterns and what to do in a garden that's a mile high. We will teach you what grows easily and thrives in our area. Ask any and all of the questions you would like, bring a notebook and share the enthusiasm from our garden to yours. We look forward to becoming your new Garden Center!
What we Stand For
At Watters Garden Center we support local family farms. Local means fresher plants that are use to our water, soils and sun. This insures better plants, better success, a better environment and a better local economy. Family farms are just better for our community.
